The Garden Aquarium range is great in the winter, its just the fish you need to be mindful of when temperatures drop below freezing, ensuing the pond does not ice over totally and there is a hole so the fish can breath.  Running water from your fountain or watefall is a great way to do this, if you do live in a very cold area, for piece of mind you can add a low power pond heater that activates when the temperature drops below freezing and maintain a hole in the ice.
